Susan E. Oehl, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Baylor University in 2003. She then received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2006 and was also admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2006.
While in law school, Susan clerked for an insurance defense firm in downtown Houston. She also successfully completed training as a mediator through the Frank Evans Center for Conflict Resolution. Shortly after passing the bar, Susan began practicing in the area of family law, and quickly gained experience in the courtroom and in mediations, while working for solo practitioners in the greater Houston area. She joined Jenkins & Kamin in September 2008.
Susan is a member of the Family Law and Collaborative Law sections of the Houston Bar Association, the Family Law section of the State Bar of Texas, and is also a member of Houston Young Lawyers Association.
